Uniting Industry Supporters

Insurance leaders sometimes ask us, "How does the Insurance Federation of Minnesota get things done for our industry?" It's a good question. There's an even better answer. The IFM helps unite the supporters of Minnesota's local, regional, and national property/casualty insurers on many issues impacting our industry.

For more than 100 years, our organization has successfully enlisted and connected diverse factions and interests needed to help advance our state's property/casualty insurance industry. As a result, we have collectively helped shape an overall insurance industry in Minnesota that we believe today:

• Engages with multiple insurance trade groups, such as the PCIA, NAMIC, and NICB

• Cooperates with other industry groups, such as the MN Chamber of Commerce and NFIB

• Embraces sustainable and competitive legislative, regulatory, and economic policies

Our members count on us to help keep our industry growing, competitive, and sound. We do that through effective and appropriate legislative, regulatory, and business advocacy; collaboration; and information sharing on behalf of our members.

We need strong collaboration to help protect our industry from whatever risks or issues impact it. Through seasoned staff and leadership, we provide that collaboration...and it gets results.
